Allo, allo and welcome back to “The Invisible Church” for “Words of cheer” to-day we will continue with “In Him Realities” and we will look at “Peace with God”. These in Him realities deal with who we are, what we can do and what has been done for us through Christ Jesus. They are to be meditated on, confessed, believed and acted on in our lives so that we can benefit from what God did for us in Christ Jesus. Ps.103. states that we are not to forget all His benefits, so without further a do let us go to God’s Word once again and find out about our peace with Him. In both the Hebrew and the Greek the word means: stability, security and prosperity.
Rom.5:1-2. (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
(Amp) Therefore, since we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God’s favour) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
(Mess) By entering through faith into what God has always wanted for us-set us right with Him, make us fit for Him-we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand-out in the open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praises.
(Stevens) The consequences of justification are, first, a sense of security in our relations to God, which we have obtained through Christ, who has introduced us into this new position of acceptance with God; next, a joyous hope of future blessedness.
(Richert) Now we are in harmony with the Heavenly Majesty. How? By putting our trust in Jesus our Master whom God designated to be our agent in death, and new life. In this relationship the Father considers us just as deserving of His goodness as Jesus His Son. This stimulates us to discover more and more of God’s dynamic purpose in our lives as His plan for our freedom unfolds.
(Hayman) So then having by means of faith made righteousness ours, and have through Him obtained the access by faith to our present state of acceptance and a triumphant prospect of future glory.
(Lovett) Now that we have been made righteous by faith, let us enjoy the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(Williams) Since we have been given right standing with God through faith, then let us continue enjoying peace with God, in this state of God’s favour, in which we safely stand.
(Hudson) Let us enjoy the peace with God, which is ours through our Lord Jesus Christ. It was through Him, that we were piloted into this state of God’s favour in which we have our berth.
(Moffatt) Let us enjoy the peace we have with God. Through Him we have got access to this grace where we have our standing, and triumph in hope of God’s glory.
(Shorter Bible) Let us enjoy the harmony, which we have with God.
(Wey) Through Him, too, we have been introduced by this door of faith into the favour of God in which we have so firm a footing; yes, and we are exalting in the hope of something higher yet, the glory of God’s presence.
(Wade) Through Whom we have obtained also access to that position of Divine favour, which we occupy.
(Taylor) Into this state of favour and high privileges, wherein we now stand as upon firm and sure ground.
(Deane) And, already triumphant, hope for our attainment to the Divine ideal.
(Goodspeed) The favour of God that we now enjoy.
- Truths from God’s Word to be meditated on and confessed over your life:
I have been made righteous. I have come into right standing and acceptance with God by faith in Christ Jesus. Because I am made righteous with God’s own righteous nature, the same righteousness that is in Christ, my spirit is in harmony with the Heavenly Majesty. I am enjoying peace-harmony-with God. My spirit reverberates with Heavens note. Not only that, but I have a firm footing in this state of favour with God. The Father’s favour is on me today, bringing wave after wave of blessing. This position of Divine favour, which I now occupy, gives me high privileges and causes me to rejoice with heavenly, triumphant joy. In this grace where I have my standing, I enjoy the glory of God’s presence, with the hope of attaining to the entire Divine ideal. By faith I have entered into what God has always wanted for me-to set me right with Himself, to make me fit for Himself-I have it all together with God because of Jesus my Lord. And that’s not all: As I throw open my doors to God I discover that at the same moment He throws open His door to me and I find myself standing where I always hoped I might stand-out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting my praises.

That is all I have for now so I’ll say “till next time” in the meantime be blessed and don’t forget to share His Word and spread His love all around.
I want to give each person who has not yet received Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour a chance to change the course of their lives this day by making a quality decision to accept the free gift of eternal life that is offered by God the Father, all you have to do is pray the following prayer by faith.
“Father, it is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from dead, I shall be saved. Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan. “I thank You for forgiving me of all my sin. Jesus is now my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
